Through the years, Shotgun has fostered an excellent working relationship with artists and the theater community-at-large. Artists have been provided the opportunity to develop their craft and to perform in full productions, thereby gaining valuable exposure to agents, managers, and casting directors. Over the past decade, industry professionals have recognized Shotgun’s commitment to developing new works. They have provided assistance “moving” our works to regional companies, identifying appropriate commercial producers, and introducing new works and artists, thereby, enhancing the quality of the work Shotgun produces.
With each main stage production, Shotgun selects a charity to donate a portion of ticket sales. Organizations that have benefited in the past include:
• The Dan Bailey Foundation
• Gay Men's Health Crisis
• T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia Cancer and AIDS Research
• Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS
